Sometimes, picking up old music tends to be a positive and not a negative.

I’m supposed to be at the gym right now but instead…
I realized that my Britney CD’s (or at least the first two albums she came out with) are totally gone. I remember in high school, my mother and I did a clean-out in my closet and crap, BRITNEY IS GONE. I had no interest in keeping stuff from the pop-infested era of the late 90’s and early millennium at that time and now, BRITNEY IS GONE.
I’m not rebuying anything, if you wanted to know.
I didn’t even know I had this song.
(U2’s Mysterious Ways from Achtung Baby - 1991 - the original version)
RED-
Flavor of kool-aid to a black person.
Mom: Ey hunnah! I’m hittin’ up the local Safeway. Does yo bitch ass need anythin!?
Son: Yeah git me some kool-aid bitch!
Mom: What flava?!
Son: red!
This thing WORKS LIKE MAGIC. I swear, it forced me to finish writing my application essay in 22 minutes and frankly, I feel really good right now. Even finished my personal statement.
Oh Puccini, you tearjerker. <3
